September 26, 2020 will be a day of action for the Great Lakes.
For more than 25 years our Adopt-a-Beach volunteers have worked to keep Great Lakes shorelines healthy, safe, and beautiful. Join us on Saturday, September 26 at Schlitz Audubon and be a part of something GREAT! September Adopt-a-Beach is part of the International Coastal Cleanup, so you’ll be joining people caring for their local shorelines all over the world! We will gather outside of the Visitor Center and take a short hike down to our beach, and join the efforts to clean up our Great Lake shorelines. All collected items will be documented and counted to report to Alliance for the Great Lakes as data.

This program will take place entirely outdoors. We will practice social distancing when we are able to, but because of the nature of small-group programming, it will not always be possible. For the health and safety of all, participants must wear a mask when you are within six feet of others. Please do not attend if you are sick or believe you have been exposed to the virus.
Free to all.
