Today, places for wildlife are more important than ever. Dan Panetti will talk about creating a backyard wildlife habitat for birds, focusing on four major areas: food, water, cover, and places to raise young. He’ll discuss native plantings, housing, watering options, and feeders and foods best suited to wildlife.
Dan has owned and operated Wild Birds Unlimited in Mequon since 1991. He served as an officer of the Milwaukee Audubon Society from 1994 to 2017. He is also on the Pineview Wildlife Rehabilitation Center’s Advisory Board. He’s an avid birder, native gardener, forager of wild edibles, and greatly enjoys time outdoors.
Young adults and birders of all interest levels are welcome. Free to all. Registration required.
