#15 Let’s Go Ponding! | 12:45pm – 3:15pm
Monday, June 12 – Thursday, June 15
Spring is turning to summer and the ponds are bursting with new life! From tadpoles and baby ducks to Dragonfly nymphs and tiny turtles, an amazing amount of creatures are in the pond this time of year. Grab your net to discover and identify the varieties of life present in a bucket of pond water. Pull on your boots and let’s go ponding!

#61 Great Lake Michigan | 12:30pm – 3:30pm
Monday, June 19 – Friday, June 23
Which of the five Great Lakes is the greatest? Our neighbor Lake Michigan, of course! We’ll spend the week exploring the shores of Lake Michigan and one day at Mystery Lake for comparison. We’ll dig in the sand and dip (with buckets!) into the lake to create a watershed. We’ll construct a natural shelter and comb the beach for beach glass and ancient sea life preserved in stone. You can keep beach glass, but rocks and fossils stay for everyone to discover

#88 Raptor Trainer 201 | 9:00am – 12:00pm
Monday, June 19 – Friday, June 23
Pre-requisite: participants must have completed Raptor Trainer 101 camp either this year or in a previous year. For campers who’ve worked with the birds and are hungry for more! Participants will actively train our birds, make equipment, prep food, and complete other tasks to keep the birds safe, healthy, and enriched. We’ll look at careers with animals and advanced ornithology. The entire morning is spent at the Raptor Facility. The last day of camp will showcase skills learned during a presentation for family and friends
