Get Involved

Schlitz Audubon Nature Center connects people with nature and inspires them to become responsible stewards of the natural world.

The Center accomplishes this goal by engaging the greater Milwaukee community in a variety of ways. Between providing environmental education for every age, outreach events in the community, and inviting volunteers to take a stake in restoring the land, there are so many ways you can get involved at Schlitz Audubon.

How can we help you cultivate your connection with the natural world?

  • We offer six miles of trails that lead visitors through 185 unique acres of forests, wetlands, restored prairies, ravines, bluffs and Lake Michigan shoreline. Become a Member and explore 362 days a year!
  • From volunteer land stewards, to our Raptor Program volunteers, front desk volunteers, and every activity in between, volunteers are at the core of everything we accomplish at Schlitz Audubon. Join as a Volunteer!
